I heard it explained once that we can either be tourists or transformers in this world. Those who go through life having fun, taking cheezy photos and leaving nothing at their dream destinations but a 5$ tip to the bellboy. I love having fun AND taking cheezy photos, but i also hope to always impact the lives of those around me. My vision for life is to know God intimately here on earth so i can show others the freedom, hope and joy that comes from walking with Him.
I live on the island of Kauai (Hawaii, no shame- I’d never heard of it either) and am part of a pioneering team to start a new Ywam* base on the island. I love what i do and wouldn’t trade it for the world.
